Him Jeff; Welcome to the Savage group! I think you bought a great bike. Noise? Do you mean muffler or internal engine noise? For muffler and vibration, I have no complaint. For engine noise (mechanical) you will hear some valve clatter, not excessive, when accelerating hard you will hear some heavy thumping, probably some air cleaner noise, nothing really bad.
